If peoples at home asks me to make a dessert to indulge after a meal, my mind will always go for some chocolate based desserts. Though chocolate desserts are our family favourite, we will look for a chance to dish out desserts with chocolate. Actually chocolate mousse is my most favourite, i seriously looking for a chance to make a layered dessert with chocolate mousse since a while. Finally it happened, hence i created this lipsmacking eggless chocolate mousse with muesli and apricots.

Eggless Chocolate mousse with apricots & muesli

I have never tried my hands in making a layered dessert with muesli and apricots. And this works awesome, yes layering muesli and apricots between the eggless chocolate mousse makes definitely an excellent dessert to serve everyone at home. Though this dessert calls for chocolate, still this mousse dessert is definitely healthy as its loaded with muesli and apricots. The crunchiness of muesli and apricot gives an interesting texture to this dessert. Since am running this week's blogging marathon with Layered Dish as theme, i couldnt resist to post this simple dessert.

In a chilled bowl, beat the heavy cream until they turns smooth and stiff, keep it in fridge.

Meanwhile take the chocolate chips and butter in a bowl.

Now gently drop the whipped cream and slowly fold it.

Dont deflate the whipped cream, take care of it.

Transfer the mousse to a piping bag and keep in fridge for atleast an hour.

Squeeze the chocolate mousse in a glass, top it with enough muesli, then followed by chopped apricots chunks, continue the same process.

Serve the mousse immediately.
